I really enjoyed Okorafor’s approach to this character that was a standout in the movie. She gives her depth, intelligence and her own voice. I’ve read the character before but this felt different. The character was interesting, her powers- a mix of intelligence and knowledge from the ancient ones provided something new and fun to read. I want to read more. Okorafor can write a comic and I’m here for it.
