For Love Or Honey
by Staci Hart
Once again I adored spending time with characters from the small Texas town of Lindenbach created by Staci Hart. They have such great personalities and they all really add so much to each story. I had been eagerly awaiting the Blum’s sisters’ stories since getting to know them a little more in the last book by this author, Friends with Benedicts. And I have to say I was not disappointed in any way! This family of women, cursed as they may think they are, were such a big part of the town that you knew everyone was rooting for them.
Of course then you had Grant, the hero, or the villain maybe of this story. This is the enemies to lovers trope, but Grant really had so much more to him than being the bad guy. In fact after just one conversation between him and his dad, I really felt so much more on Grant’s side. While there were some obvious bits about which way the story would go, I love how realistic and perfect the author made the ending. I loved that the big overture to get the other one back wasn’t maybe exactly what you might expect in this type of story.
I sped through this, loving getting time with Presley and Sebastian and their adorable little daughter, Priscilla. Just like with the last book, I’m left eagerly awaiting more stories of this wonderful cast of characters in this lovely little setting of a small Texas town.
