I totally get why this book is compared to The House in the Cerulean Sea, which is one of my favourite books and therefor a very high standard to live up to. But this book gave me those same heart fluttery, giggle inducing feelings, I loved it so much! The kids were the cutest, I adored all the side characters and the found family element, the romance was perfectly paced for me, everything about it was exactly what I wanted. I’ll definitely be looking out for more from this author!
