I'm guessing me not loving this story is one part me not being a native English speaker, and Poe's work not being the easiest to follow. Another part me not drinking any sort of alcohol ever, cause I really dislike it's taste, so I really can't find a common ground with this person going completely out of his mind. But, let's be fair, it was also probably three parts of me not being awake enough to even read this short story in one sitting. I probably should just re-read it once I've slept a bit
