When We Were Sisters
by Fatimah Asghar
I like the honesty in the topics that were written about here: grief, growing pains, family and identity dynamics. It gave a really good view at these things in a beautiful, lyrical way. This was written to be delivered fragmentary and I'm surprised that I enjoyed that style so much, but it worked well with the storytelling. It's a really sad story but it's real and I appreciate that.
