Though this is book 2 in the Love in the Balance series, I have not yet read book 1 (and I will go back and do that). This can be read as a stand alone.

There is enough background information given that you do not miss out on anything.

Sadie - 30 year old virgin. Brains, smart mouth, and still pining for the man who walked away a year ago.

Aiden - regrets walking away, and Sadie will always be the one that got away.

I loved this pair. When their lives intersect again after everything that has happened, I liked that they didn't instantly become a couple again. They fought - especially their attraction to one another - and slowly grew into their "forever" couple. They worked at their relationship, it didn't just 'happen overnight'

Strong writing from Ms Lemmon had me drawn right into their story and left me not wanting to put the book down (damn this having to go to sleep business!!)

I will be going back to read book 1, and would read any others in this series.
