A brilliantly crafted thriller, The Chemist managed to keep my heart pounding through every scene. I loved the science and the paranoia and how real it all seemed. The characters were wonderfully imagined (even the dogs seemed real!). Would recommend to anyone looking for a smart, concise, romance-tinged, exciting novel.
