I've read two Ruth Ware books now back to back and I feel like there's something missing when it comes to her books. Mystery/suspense is my favourite genre, but I like them to be fast-paced.
With Ware, it takes around 100 pages for something to actually start happening and it feels somewhat like a chore to get through that first third of the book.
