I did not expect to love this book. I definitely didn't expect to love it even more than The Princess Companion.

I absolutely hated Ava in The Princess Companion, so the thought of a book about her? I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to read (well, more like listen because both books I listened to the audiobooks) it. Then I decided, 'why not give it a try'.

Now, I don't give 5 stars to perfect books. I don't believe any book can be perfect. My rating in stars is always a feeling. And I had to give this 5 stars, I loved it so much.

The plot was interesting, and I kept wanting to continue even when it was very late at night and I was sleepy. I LOVED these characters, and pretty soon my hatred for Ava also turned into love. The friendships and romance warmed my heart, and countless times I couldn't stop myself from smiling.
