Amy is part a reality TV show that appears to be written by men from the 1950’s, they want their women to work at being better for them, erm wait what?! The women have to complete a series of tasks to prove they are good wife material, annoyed by the concept the women agree to join together to show that they don’t need to put up with this rubbish and end up forming strong bonds and discovered things about themselves.
It shines a light on unhealthy relationships and the pressure we feel to have it all and do certain things by a certain age and shows how empowering the decision to choose to do what you really want can be.
If your missing your love island fix and in need of a summer read then this is the book for you. It’s a fun, fast paced book that I’m sure will be a hit!
