Looking for Alaska by John Green
3.0

This book is so boring.
Most of John Green's books are, but this one didn't really have a plot. It was just a boring, lonely guy that likes people's last words, going to a new school, liking a weird, hot, bipolar chick, who *spoiler alert* dies. And it wasn't even, like, a cool death that led him to her past. It was a random, out of the blue, meaningless death. He doesn't figure out why, he doesn't figure out anything about her, and he just goes on with his life without caring.
This book just bothered me.
The only things I liked were the last words, because I've never even thought of people's last words and now I can't stop looking them up.
I gave the book three stars because John Green does good with each character having their own distinct thing about themselves (like liking people's last words) and he's good at hitting you deep.
