Tell the Wolves I'm Home
by Carol Rifka Brunt
It was interesting being pulled back into the late 80s when AIDS was so misunderstood and feared, homosexuality wasn't accepted, and children had so much more freedom.
At times I was frustrated with June, the main character, at times disappointed, at times impressed, at times proud. This was an interesting look at a young girl, at a very emotional and challenging time.
I enjoyed it. I recommend.
