This book was far superior to the first. Maybe it's because Kyoshi has a better sense of self in this one but it's just a far more solid story. My understanding is that this is the last book in the series and I as much as I would love more of Kyoshi's story, I do think that it is wise to let it rest here. Overall the story fits so perfectly in with A:TLA and LoK while building up on the myths and lore of the world the way the rest of the series did. A bit darker for the world but then again so was LoK, with a little more death added to it as well. I particularly like the ending, it made me extremely happy.
