The thing I loved most about this book was how real it felt. Whilst obviously fitting into the genre of romance, it never felt tropey or cliched, and instead the character conflicts felt grounded and realistic. I also loved the parallel between the coming-out of one of the MCs who is in her 40s with the coming-out of the other MC’s teenage niece.
