this was such a wonderful, sad but hopeful, read about grief, loss, mourning, loneliness and trusting that, despite how hopeless the present may feel, the future will be kinder and warmer.
i did prefer the first novella/short story over the second, but that's okay!! both resonated with me in some capacity.
