buffyreads 's review for:
Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic
by C.M. Nascosta
Highlights:
Lowell and Moria had amazing chemistry from their first interaction. Nascosta is excellent at building relationships through natural sounding dialogue. I also love the male praise kink in this.
Lowlights:
The beginning is kind of a slog. There's a lot of character set up happening (mainly for Lowell) that I think could've been condensed. This book seems more focused on the characters journey outside of each other than the actual 'clinic' situation which would be fine if the romance wasn't the most interesting part. There was so much internal monologue, even in the middle of sex scenes. Also the spicy scenes in the book didn't move me. I think I expected them to be more interesting since it took so long to get to them but they were more meh to me. I also didn't love the direction the plot went.
Horn Level: 3/5
