So … I’ve read enough mysteries to be able to figure some stuff out when the right clues are dropped. I figured out one of the big plot twists within the first 25 pages of the book for this one though …
I thought it was kinda obvious but I had to read to the end to make sure I was actually right. I was. But there was another twist that I definitely did not see coming and for that it gets the extra half star!
All in all it was definitely a good book and it was a super quick read despite the length so if you’re looking for a YA mystery this one should definitely be considered!
Also, major props to Melissa de la Cruz for showing how important a service animal can be!
