A very needed book, and from an author within the community depicted. The author speaks in the afterward very thoughtfully about her own experiences of colorism as a child and as an adult. My only hesitation with this is that the "solution" comes from the child, and I don't want to give the impression that it is the job of young children to solve problems made my adults.
