It took me some time to really think about how I felt about this book. At first I wrote a three sentence review, but I don't really like doing those. I want to write a little more so that I can really express my opinion or something.

And honestly, I have mixed feelings about this book. It's not a bad book, and I wouldn't call it boring, but for a big part of the book I did feel something close to bored. Like, it felt like nothing important happened until the end.

It's probably me being used to either reading fantasy books with action, or contemporary books with dramatic storylines. And some books with mystery storylines.

A big part of this book is mostly just day to day life of Lara Jean having a boyfriend, a new soon to be stepmother and two sisters she's close with. It's mostly just her interacting with them, or baking something. There's also the college storyline with a 'plottwist' that I saw coming as soon as the storyline was introduced.

Any problems were solved pretty quickly, and to me it wasn't that satisfying.

I also got a little annoyed by some of the characters. For the first 2 books, I felt 'meh' about Margot, but I really, really disliked her this book. I get where she was coming from, feeling left out, but that's no excuse to act the way she did. She was just disrespectful and annoying.

Lara Jean also got on my nerves sometimes. (Also, I find it a little hypocritical that she got upset about the fact that her dad and Trina didn't want a HUGE party, yet later in the book she talks about not wanting one either, but I guess birthdays and weddings are a lot different so yeah)

I even started to get annoyed by Peter, who I actually really liked.

Honestly, the only characters I wasn't annoyed by this book were Kitty and Trina.

(Also, unrelated to anything I just typed, but for some reason this book series gave me a headache while reading it - maybe it's the lettertype or something, but I only had that with these three books.)

Alright, enough negative stuff, let's move on to positive stuff to say:

• Even though I wasn't a huge fan of this book, I can't say I disliked it. There were fun parts. So maybe I feel neutral about it?
• I really like Lara Jean and Peter together. I also like the characters separately - most of the time.
• There was less of a focus on the baking part, which I was relieved by. Don't get me wrong, baking is fun, but reading about a character bake almost every chapter got a little exhausting (and made me hungry), Lara Jean did some other stuff than baking too. Yay!
• I enjoyed the writing. I never really pay much attention to writing, if I have to be honest. But this was so easy and quick to read. In one day I could read more pages than I normally read in three days. The writing still kept me interested.

I'm not sure if I find it a satisfying ending to the series, I felt like there were still some parts that didn't get an ending (how are they doing with long distance, what happens between Peter and his dad, how does Kitty feel being the only child living at home)

Besides all that, I don't know what else to say - or type.
