I found a lot of parts of Ninth House to be boring and slow. I first started off reading the book and almost marked it as a dnf, but I decided to try the audiobook. Doing the audiobook made me get into the story more, but I did find parts still slow. I did enjoy the world building and found Alex to be a strong female character.
