With charm and his signature humor, the narrator (Ernie) breaks the fourth wall and talks directly to the reader, poking (good-natured) fun at the genre and Christmas specials in general. I loved the twists and turns, some I guessed right (shot in the dark tbh) but some took me by complete surprise, which made for an exciting and satisfying read.
