This was the perfect read to start off September! It started out slow, with the drama between Nickie, Jeremy and our FMC Remi. Jeremy I feel just tries to keep the peace between the two girls, but Nickie rubs me the wrong way. I don't feel like she's a good friend and it made me feel so bad for Remi.

I loved the demon-hunting secret society! Also all of the other trainees. I can see them all becoming the most amazing found family🖤 Once the plot started to pick up, it really took off for me and I finished the it in one sitting 😅

I love Josh & Remi together! They're the definition of forbidden love, destined for ruin. It hurts my heart but in the best way possible lol. I'm still on the fence about Kal. I'm not sure where he really fits in. Is he just a love sick guy crushing on Remi or does he have some other kind of motive?

I can't wait to see how Remi takes that bomb Father dropped at the end. I have so many theories on what could happen in book 2 after the two massive ass cliffhangers the author left me on. I'm literally hanging on for dear life over here 😂

Definitely recommend this to anyone who binge watches Supernatural, or loves secret assassin societies 😍
