I really enjoyed reading this one. Someone recommended it to me because I was a fan of fantasy, and Red Rising and I can see why. I originally picked this one up with a plan to read one chapter a couple nights ago, but then had a hard time putting it down. It pulled me in right from the get-go.
The characters are well-rounded, and interesting. I found myself intrigued with every new thing I found out about a character and I had fun trying to put things together to figure out what people's intentions were.
The story itself was an interesting read too. I found myself constantly wondering what was going to happen, and anxiously flying through the book to get answers. There was a plot twist partway through that really caught me off guard in the best way.
I really enjoyed this one, and I cannot wait to read the next one when it's out.
