A Room of One's Own
by Virginia Woolf
I didn’t expect to like this at all! I consider myself a fiction reader and rarely like non-fiction, but wow. It was very interesting! I vaguely expected an angry feminist rant, but the points were well thought out.
I recommend it if you’re a woman who’s into reading, writing, or how gender plays a role in certain aspects of society.
The book starts with Virginia Woolf contemplating women and fiction. The first chapter was hard to get into, but the rest is interesting.
I recommend listening on audiobook (it’s around 4 hours long) if you struggle to read classic-literature like me.
