This book loses a star because I wanted MORE!!! This is a mix of sleeping beauty and Snow White. Both princesses are in this story, and yet neither are what you’d expect. These princesses save themselves, there are no hero princes (not alive anyway) and the ending leaves the story unfinished... I will be thinking about what happens next and creating my own stories in my head. The illustrations were glorious and the twist on the classic fairy tale stories was very modern and very good. I just want more!
