This book was enjoyable but not gripping or memorable. In general it was very middle-of-the-range, to the extent that I'm struggling to think of many things to say about it, either positive or negative.
The concept of a girl finding out she is the daughter of Jack Frost is an interesting one, and there are some nice scenes with her meeting her father as well as learning to use her icy magic powers. However I didn't really connect with any of the characters and ultimately was disappointed by the story.
