Book Review: From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout 📚✨
I first read From Blood and Ash back in 2020, and even though I completely forgot the details of the plot, revisiting it was a thrill. I finished it in one day, staying up way past my bedtime, totally engrossed in the story. It’s one of those books that grabs you from the very first page and doesn’t let go. 😱
The plot is fantastic — full of action, suspense, and mystery that keeps you guessing. Poppy, the main character, is caught in a world of deadly secrets, forbidden powers, and dangerous alliances. The twists and turns never stop, and just when you think you have it figured out, the story surprises you with something even bigger. The world-building is rich, and Armentrout does an incredible job of creating a high-stakes environment where every choice feels significant.
I had rated this book 5 stars back in 2020, and after re-reading it, I can confidently say it deserves it again. If you’re into epic romantasy with heart-pounding action and an unpredictable plot, this series is a must-read! ⚔️💥
