Shari Lapena is an author that I am always looking forward to reading. The first book I read by her was The Couple Next Door and I knew that I found a thriller author that I was going to love. While her books do not tooooootally blow me away, they are great enough that I have such a good time reading and love to recommend to others to talk about. I love discussing thriller books over some wine and a meat and cheese board at the home of friends or family. There's something about it! And this is a book WORTHY of some great discussions!

The first quarter of this book was a cozy, slow-building mystery where we were getting to know these coupled characters as they were travelling to stay at a remote bed and breakfast/quaint hotel during some cold, snowy weather.

A death occurs and all bets are off as to what is next and who the killer could be! Get some good coffee/tea/wine and snuggle up on the couch and read this one!
