This was much better than the first book in the series! I didn't particularly care for the Meet Your Watch, which is book one of the Kings of the Ice series, but I wanted to read about the other characters we were introduced to. I loved the idea of Jaxson and Grace, ever since we saw them in the first book. I love a good road trip romance and add in a sports romance plus the teammate's little sister and I knew it would be good. It really did not disappoint. Kandi Steiner does such a good job of building tension between these two and the angst was just enough without the book being too angsty. There was great banter and the steamy scenes were awesome. Jaxson Brittain is Grace’s brother’s teammate and friend. She knows he’s off limits for her, but she still wants him. Grace is not only Jaxson’s teammate’s little sister, but she’s eight years younger than him and forbidden in so many ways. They have great chemistry and feel a pull toward each other, but can't act on it. Grace and Jaxson go on a secret road trip and it’s so much fun. I loved reading this part, in fact it was my favorite part of the book. I loved watching them become friends and slowly fall for one another. When feelings come into play, neither one can stay away. This was a fun and steamy book and I really liked Jaxson and Grace together. I cannot WAIT for Daddy P's (Will's) book!
