This book was wayyyy outside my normal non-fiction wheel house. With that being said this book made me want to learn more. Crouch critiques not only music, movies, and people but also how those things affect American culture over all. It was interesting to read about his opinions on topics from jazz/blue/swing music to movies to Disney to race riots and more.
This is one of those non-fiction books that makes you want to learn more, read more, and experience more.
