Perfection on every page.

The elements of the mystery/suspense plot, the romance and strong character development are all perfectly balanced in this well written novel. I was fully invested from the very first page and fell into the intrigue, gasping were necessary and having “oh” moments. The pacing was on point and made this a definite page turner for me.
Also really appreciated that Nova and Mercy are two mature aged (in their forties) single Dads each raising a teenager and how the portrayal of their lives was so realistic. Their attraction is undeniable and they slow burn their way to more steamy moments but their journey is not just about that. There’s the realism of starting a romance with two teens to take into account.
So after some drama, suspense, some feels and a well earned HEA, I was left with a very full and happy heart for Nova and Mercy at the end.
