I don't care how gothic it is--
I'm not rooting for the 42 year old man and the CHILD half his age whom he marries and drags off to his creepy house and his creepy staff to be in love forever. I'm certainly not rooting for the man who shoots his pregnant wife. And under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are we rooting for this insipid, useless, INFANT to insist that Maxim should cover up the murder so they can live happily ever after.
Gross, gross, gross.
