I adore this book. This is a low-stakes political fantasy full of intrigue and a richly developed world that leaves your heart full at the end of it. I definitely struggled with the various naming conventions which may be why this didn't feel like a 5 star -- I had to keep searching for terms in the glossary and it occasionally took me out of the story.
