Absolutely stunning debut novel!
I thought the characters were fully formed, their problems felt so real and the entire plot was very smooth. I thought Mark was a great mmc and he had a very unique POV to have, being so political. I appreciated that he acknowledged his privilege of passing, having the resources to transition how he wanted and having a lovely supportive mother.
While the actual plot of student government was not all that enticing to me, I thought the issues that Mark was fighting for, his friends and Mark's story was absolutely fantastic.
