I decided to re-read this and it did not disappoint on the second read.
This is such a good start to a mystery series as the characters are lovable, fun and all very different. The mystery was engaging and I loved how the MC kept getting caught doing what she wasn't supposed and kind of having no choice but to laugh about it.
The story takes place in Maine, so very reminiscent of Murder, She Wrote except Hayley is much younger, but just as sassy and determined. If you enjoy cozy mysteries, this is a great one to read.
