These two fated mates did not get a straight forward or easy path to their HEA.
Soren is a prickly and bratty snark filled vampire with very high defences due to past trauma. Gabe is a doctor who is stubborn beyond belief, full of insecurities and anxieties and not very good at expressing his emotions. Not at all comfortable with talking about “love stuff”.
When circumstances have the two of them sharing a house together they learn more about each other resulting in heated moments and lots of sweetness/tenderness involving cuddles.
A vampire from Soren’s past does his utmost to end Gabe and Soren’s relationship but their HEA was never going to be derailed.

This is a very enjoyable read with a great cast of main and secondary characters - especially the adorably naive vampire Jay! The plot is engaging and I was left smiling at the end.
