The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
5.0

You don't have to understand life. You just have to live it.

Oh my gosh! This book was such an amazing journey and it was full of heart, light philosophy, and I can't imagine a path or world where someone does not enjoy it! Exploring aspects of mental health, self-worth, and overcoming your life's list of regrets, The Midnight Library has changed me. This is one of those books that could not have come into my life at a better time... and it is one that I will take with me for as long as I can. I was so moved near the end that I would have been brought to smiley tears (if my tear ducts actually functioned). This book is full of so many lessons and allegories... and it will always serve as a reminder to live life and not to dwell on regrets and all those "What if?" moments. They have value in recognizing and identifying, but our self-worth, the limits we can bypass, and our own life journey is not contingent on any of those things. BURN that painful Book of Regrets. Set it on FIRE! This is just such a fantastic book! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
