This book has so much drama and I loved it!! Set in the suburbs of Minneapolis (right where I live now!), Minor Dramas & Other Catastrophes focuses on Liston Heights High where there are so many helicopters parents. This book was told in many perspectives and had really short chapters (which I love too). This story examines quite a few social issues such as school politics, privileged students and most importantly, what social media does to people and how it fuels the fire. The dynamics of a helicopter mom, a passionate English Teacher wanting to make her privileged students think beyond themselves and school administration made for an interesting, realistic story. This book was a lot of fun and reminded me of Big Little Lies (there is no murder here though).
