So You've Been Publicly Shamed
by Jon Ronson
informative
reflective
medium-paced
I think I picked this up expecting a different journey than what was given to me. This style of non-fiction novel is not my personal taste (the author telling their story of research but also explaining/exploring their findings in the process), but nonetheless I felt like I came away from the experience with new insights.
Personally, this meandered between topics a little too much and lacks some much-needed cohesiveness as a result, but I don't think the information you glean from the book ultimately suffers -- it's rather the reading experience altogether that is affected.
