I am not sure what I thought this book was about when I purchased it, but it was certainly not that. This book discusses some really bold topics, including the state sanctioned murders of Philippine citizens. Police and regular citizens on a vigilante justice kick have gone around killing people as part of the government's war on drugs. The way that people justify their actions in mass murder other crimes against humanity is staggering to me. This book is really interesting from a psychological point of view. I never knew this type of thing was going on in the Philippines. I learned a lot from this book.
