This is a new to me author with a writing style that I really liked. The plot flowed along at an engaging pace and the characters are strongly developed so these elements all combined for a very enjoyable read.

Circumstances bring Kelso and Tanner back into each other’s orbit and they very quickly fall for each other with the amazing chemistry between them sizzling. Tanner carries plenty of baggage from his recent incarceration and I really admired his strength and determination in not letting the past override his future with Kelso. Not to say that said past didn’t cause some angst for Tanner and Kelso but the blip didn’t derail their HEA.

This is a very enjoyable and engaging low angst, medium heat read that had me cheering for Tanner and Kelso from the very beginning. We’re also left with a brief insight into Leo, Kelso’s brother, who’s story will be next in the series.
