It’s very apparent to me that I do not get why this book and its siblings are so popular.  The illustrations are lovely, but one minute they are peas, then sprouts, back to peas, then to guys.  It doesn’t follow a pattern of flow, and in all honesty, I thought the story was quite slow for so few words.
