This is a great fast read for YA lovers! I went into it having no idea what it was about and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t about magic.
I loved the sea-faring world Adrienne created. The details of sailing and knowledge of gems did not go unnoticed. I really like when I learn something in a book.
The characters were well developed and easy to follow.
The pace was great—I never got bored.
My absolute favorite part was Saint’s parallel to the author’s own father.
