jenbsbooks 's review for:
The Emancipation of Veronica McAllister
by Shawn Inmon
I read this in the order of the series (although peeking at other reviews, it seems many found this one and read it as a stand-alone). Veronica is introduced in book 4, and makes an appearance in book 6 too, tying this book in with the two others in this second trilogy.
I really connected to this one. Maybe the thought of going back and reliving, and pondering what changes you would try to make, what things you'd try to keep the same, what bad things are worth the good things. Not as many extremes in this book (attempting to stop a serial killer, or having miraculous healing powers, or the "angels" overseeing it all) ... really pretty basic multi-verse ideas. Another current read with a similar theme is [b:The Midnight Library|52578297|The Midnight Library|Matt Haig|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1602190253l/52578297._SY75_.jpg|74043794].
As in the other books - Veronica eventually finds another time-traveler ... who knew there were SO many living 2nd, 3rd, multiple lives...
