Loathe Thy Neighbor
by Teagan Hunter
I adored this book so much! I’m so glad that I’ve found this author! I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to not only read everything else she ever writes, but go back and read the ones I’ve missed as well.
This was such a fun enemies to lovers story. At first I wasn’t quite sure about the roommate thing in the series name, because they were neighbors, but then the fire happens and it all falls into place. I loved both characters. I loved how River was so choosy with her dates. Sounds like me, except I don’t get past the swiping part on the apps before I say no to them. In a way I get her irritation with the pie thing as well, mine is with my parking space at school. Alas the people who take my parking space are not a single, handsome teacher that I love to hate.
And then there are so many things from Dean’s point of view that we actually don’t find out until later, not even when it is his turn to have a chapter. But I liked the way the author chose to reveal those things. I feel like the FWB situation was perfect, realistic, and definitely hot! The characters we get to know as well as the friends and family were wonderful, and I can’t wait to see which ones of them will get their own stories.
