this honestly might’ve been the best out of the whole series. the illustrations were beautiful and the story was an interesting mix of POV reversal from the main story and fairy tales with morals.

a group of short stories from Prince Cardan’s perspective beginning with his childhood and then jumping through the trilogy plot to conclude with a new story post book 3. i loved the little moral story weaved through and it was interesting to finally hear Cardan’s perspective on why he is the way he is.
