I really enjoyed this one. Sarah's mom leaves at the beginning of the book, and soon her father starts changing. He drops her off with her grandparents, who are quite strange. The book is full of magic, wild and tamed, and Sarah doesn't know who to trust or not. I was thrilled with figuring out how the curse worked.
