“Squid Game meets They Both Die at the End in this original and thought provoking LGBTQ+ thriller”
Our main character Sebastian is invited to a retreat for a new project called Happyhead. Said to be an intervention to solve the epidemic of unhappiness.
In the first 10%, the book is giving really ominous vibes. Something feels off and it’s not quite clear what that is.
It really drew me in and knowing it was likened to Squid Game added to that.
As the book progresses, the characters go through a number of assessments which are designed to bring out the best in them but the tension increases.
Overall, I really enjoyed this and read it in just 2 sittings!
Very grateful to Tandem Collective UK and Rock the Boat for providing me with this proof as part of the Rock the Boat virtual showcase event last year!
