2018: This was a difficult book to get through. Numerous times, I was shouting into the void at Tara: "NO NO NO PLEASE STOP PLEASE DON'T GO BACK". And yet, she did. I love books that get me so involved that I feel the need to shout out loud; I was dumbfounded every time I was reminded that this was a real story, that this was Tara's story. I find it incredibly brave of her to share her experiences and I am pleased that she is receiving the attention that she is for the book. It was a very hard read and I wanted to stop many times, and for that I can only give her 4 stars. Make sure you have the mental space to feel things and be unable to stop them before you open this book.
