Verity was my first CoHo book, so believe me when I tell you I had no idea what I was signing up for when I snagged this one from the library. All I knew was Colleen comes highly recommended by everyone I meet.

I read this book in 2 sittings - which would have been 1 if I hadn't had a prior engagement. It was beautiful, raw, moving, suspenseful, and real. I loved every minute of this read.

People who will love this: anyone who has ever felt forgotten or overlooked, people whose weakness is actually their strength, those who have been let down by the system, and anyone who chooses to see the good.
